And I Wrote

One day I wrote:
We have become domesticated mammals of consent... succumbing to threats and lashes of those higher in power who oppress and control us to derive what they think is best (for them); to survive for our own reasons of mutual selfishness. We have learnt to stand around and watch others get crushed sans remorse nor a single twitch-shamelessly we remain unmoved-the greatest gift we give the perpetrators and abusers who flash that sly smile right on our faces at the power of our silent yet willful consent.
We have learnt to disunite in false pretentious claims of being strong, united and clothed amidst our scrambling to lie covered in the tattered, patterned and stitched fabric of nudity. We have learnt to lie flat on command, face on the ground, in humble submission and to hold our breath when a few others trample upon our head as we give up a fight for dignity, peace and respect in common grounds just to survive another day. We forget to fight that last fight that would give life a meaning... a reason worthy to live or die.
Pouring several deaths to that single soul in a lifetime, all we want to do is spinelessly crawl; crawl spinelessly and survive, taking examples of those crawling in swarms besides us, wishing upon wish to find a life eternal in the terminal of life, on tumbling boxes we stand holding on to the precious air-so thin-from above, on tumbling boxes we stand to die together on crumbling boxes we stand...

Again I wrote:
The more the trials, the nicer you get.
The nicer you get, the more the temptations.
The more the temptations, the more the patience.
The more the patience, the more the trials.

Even if the shores want to rest, the waves do not cease to disturb;
Even if the trees want to rest, the winds do not cease to disturb,
No matter how hard you run and hide, life does not cease to find you either... C'est la vie...

Yet again I wrote:
One day, lest one day, not our vice of blindness yet our virtue of patience and forgiveness that is going to be blamed for the abhorred silence of our inaction, selfishness and cowardice towards the monstrous growth of injustice, crime and evil around us.
Today, you are silent because it is happening to me, tomorrow I shall be silent when it happens to you and after that we shall be silent when it happens to the rest of the world... and live in peace if that is what peace is all about...
“What luck for rulers that men do not think. The receptivity of the masses is very limited, their intelligence is small, but their power of forgetting is enormous." Adolf Hitler
Let the Gods and Goddesses (if any or in absentia) save the world cos' the rest of us don't even care... Duh!

Sometimes, words just don't make any sense...

Knowledge Reapers

People have different ways of interpreting 'goodness'. In the small community I live in, if one is a teetotaller, then goodness is crowned upon him... all this need for goodness comes into foreplay when finding the ideal match. Yet, I have seen superbly nurtured teetotallers who abuse the woMan they are with and smoking drinkers who are wonderfully good to their partner. Now whats goodness?!

Yesterday I told Arun that goodness is all about how you take care with genuine consideration sans any ulterior motive the person next to you... be it your partner or your friend or our neighbour or simply anyone next to us. Nish Kama Karma. Immediately he connected it to the movie '300' where the Spartans are adviced to fight for the one besides... to help him with further connections, I told him that in warfare, the military secret is to protect the comrade besides.

Information, knowledge and news we gather to curb ignorance, losing innocence, that which we rapidly search for at the end of the tunnel... Duh! However, History has taught us one thing and it sure has that we create more of what we consider is good for us and the excess of this produce is what will kill us at the end... applies to the hunger for knowledge as well. Probably thats why the knowledge gatherers resort to wisdom by opting to cut the noises and voices that clouds the brain and resort to silence as seen in the lives of many for whom climbing into the caves in the Himalayas becomes more important than frantically stepping on the corporate ladder or leading a kingdom... rendering to thoughtless thoughts.
It is often the lonely mind that tries to preoccupy itself with information, knowledge and opinion dumping; lest it suffer the burden of loneliness... often relaxing in books and more often surrendering to relationships to find solace in bodily comfort for diversion.

At the end of the day what do we carry? Nothing! Nothing at all... we leave a lot behind though. The more one gathers, the more he leaves behind. Simple, isn't it? Ces't la vie.

Bottomline: Yet it moves...

The Turmoil of Truth

Education hardly solves any issue... infact it only doubles it. Often we learn that somethings are supposed to work in a particular way and if doesn't, there is another theory to explain why it didn't. Unlearning is mastery of a paradox; an unlimited scope to revisit and reflect upon experience.

The strangest myths are often unpredictably broken by silence when an erupting soul refuses to accept lies that hovers over the surface refusing to let it emerge. The mythically plundering soul however, rests sleeplessly between the unknown faith lying helplessly, brooding over an illusion of clouded reality and truth-which is always lies told the way you wish others to know... from all these emerges the thought of breaking free. Breaking free for once. Breaking free from fake unrealities and misguiding principles that entwine over morale and values conveniently twisted. Breaking free for once before we die.

What is the truth we hold? What are the lies we dispell? What is the genuiness of the justice mystified? What is the need for all the pomp and luxury?

This is when class steps in to show that most of the complications can be done away with if and only if the desire to manifest the self surrounded with objects unknown to show the difference can be negated by adopting to nothingness and live sans difficulty, with ease as if nothing is required... nothingness completes and that is the beginning and so is the end. The turmoil of loss is managed more by class than by experience.

Bottomline: “Three things cannot be long hidden: the sun, the moon, and the truth.”-Buddha
