Sculptures like this are found mostly at temple entrances. This was recently clicked at Padmanabapuram Palace, Kerala/Tamil Nadu border. An ironical statue that stands with folded hands ensuring an everlasting welcome across boundaries regardless of "boundary-issues". Not otherwise!
