Lost In Translation

There are over 104 versions of the Bible it seems... and everytime, someone just can't resist attempting to make it better. With multiple religions emerging to contain one God, and multiple denominations emerging to contain that one religion, i thought atleast the word of God could have been spared. Despite the fact that God himself requests that his words be left alone-not one to be added or deducted-any idea to dilute or concentrate what was said must be duly withheld... yet man in his usual trait, did not listen and still does not.
To show the damage done, an attempt was made to try to see how some verses in the Bible that asks you not to change-add or delete- any word, has itself been ripped, modified and repacked to be ripped, modified and repacked yet again and again and again...

Example 1: Revelations 22:18-19

Note:
  • Are we lost in translation?
  • In our attempt to make the complex simple, have we ended up making the simple complex?
  • Have we disrespected God’s request?

  1. What version are we holding now?
  2. From what version was this derived?
  3. What version should I be holding now and where do I find it?
